Whispering Hills Daycare

Whispering Hills Daycare is a non-profit licensed Daycare available to the entire Athabasca & Area Community for children ages 19 months to 5 years old.

WE OFFER:

Full-time, part-time and drop-in Daycare as well as
After school care (a fun and safe program for children ages 6 - 12) located at Whispering Hills Primary School

STAFFING & PROGRAM:
The Daycare's staff exceeds the minimum requirements set forth by Children's Services, have training in Early Childhood and hold a Child Care First Aid certificate.

We serve a hot lunch as well as morning and afternoon snacks. Our program provides at least 2/3 of the children's recommended daily nutritional intake.

Each day has carefully programmed activities. Our philosphy focuses upon the social, emotional, physical, creative and intellectural needs of each individual child.

SUBSIDIES:
Subsidized fees are available for single parents and low-income families. Further information is available from the Daycare Director.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
7 :30 a.m. - 5 :30 p.m.
Monday - Friday throughout the year, except for Statutory and Civic Holidays
